OPEN SESAME ETSY

Well, I have been wanting to do this for a very long time. I just never had the means too. I now as of 11AM EST will be open for business on ETSY. I am very excited about this opening. Although I still love and adore my ARTFIRE shop. I honestly believe that ETSY will further me as an artisan in a more well known community so that I can bring that knowledge back to ARTFIRE.

I am truelly believing that this will be a new and fresh start and I look forward to many conversations and many new friends and contacts through ETSY.

THERE HERE!! THERE HERE!!

They are finally here after what feels like forever my swarovski crystal ovals are finally here. Now the first thing I realize is WOW Artbeads.com is definitely consistent. They have consistent shipping timeframes and detail in packaging. This is my second package receipt from them and I have another one on the way. So I knew when I got into the envelope that for obviouse reasons I did not have to worry about the bill. So I went straight for Christmas morning. I am always amazed with Swarovski Crystal it's so beautiful, and this is definatly a company who wants to make sure you get it in top condition unlike others I have received I received each oval in a little plastic container in it's own little ziploc baggy, and then the three baggies are in a larger baggie wrapped in cushy shipping etc.

My first Artbeads Request!!

So I got the email from Artbeads.com a little over a week ago. I got it and got sooooo overwhelmed by all the choices that I actually *GASP* left it for a few days. When I came back I started analyzing and seeing what I could actually see myself playing with. Oh sure there were tons of possible new toys to ask for, everything from swarovski crystal pieces to jewelry cleaner and beyond. One really neat thing I saw was wooden frames (little, little pieces) with beautiful artwork on them!. My problem was I wanted to cut them apart and change the holes to make different angles. So instead of all the possibilities I decided to get 3 very firey beautiful swarovski ovals

I'm so excited to get these crystals. I have so many ideas running through my head as I look at the pictures. I promised I would not work until Saturday but I could not help but want to put this up so that you get to see what I have chosen before it gets here!

If you have any ideas you would like to share with me on how you would use these beautiful ovals in your jewelry leave a comment they are always welcome!

ATTENTION ATTENTION ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

I have a fair amount of blog posts in my head right now so I'm deciding to separate them so that they all get there very own importance.

I'm very excited to announce that I have been offered an opportunity to blog for Artbeads. I am very excited about it. I got a twitter message from Steve Groenier (BeadGuy) of Artbeads, asking me to email them about an opportunity to work with Artbeads. I'm thinking GREAT. I wonder what there looking for?. So I emailed the address he gave me and waited till the next day. When i got the email I was sooo excited. They were asking to me as a handmade jewelry artist to blog for there website along with many other talented artists. I emailed back right away excepting there offer and now I'm going through the list of options they sent me for products they want me to play with and then blog about.

I have also decided to bring YOU my readers through the whole process with me.

I hope you enjoy this job (more like a love affair) with me. Fell free to leave comments.

I reward great customer service!!

I did a blog post a week or so ago (as I'm sure all of you have now read), basically letting everyone know about my experience with Artbeads. I also wanted to make sure that the company new how impressed and satisfied I am as a new customer. So I twittered Artbeads (there exact location is http://twitter.com/Artbeads), so I could let them know to read my blog so they could tell there staff how appreciative I am as well as I'm sure other people too. In response to my message I received the following.
This is my Twitter account.

and this......... is a comment that was left on my blog.

So the lesson of the story is this. Someone does there job well. Rewarding them makes them feel good. It didn't cost me a darn thing to tell everyone willing to listen, what a great company Artbeads is and what great service I got.
